Saturation of information from unending growth of the human race eventually leads to a destruction of ideas, thus making my effort purposeless. The inevitable end of man makes my effort purposeless. The sculpture contains every technique I have acquired up to this date in my life. It holds within it a visual narrative of the process of creation from humans to destruction from apathy or rivalry. Golden sea of information. The exterior of the piece combines natural and artificial forms/material to portray the human body, but I provide a peering hole to physically look within the being. I value the divergence of the interior and exterior of an object. This single portal effect generates competition among the audience similar to the competition in human nature, as well as, allows the viewer a personal perspective into the mind of the creature.
